(Day 8) Met up with L in sydney rd, brunswick. I arrived early, to a small italian restaurant and cocktail place, Madonna Electric. You have to be careful when you order a margarita - because they have both the pizza and the drink.

Cute, little place. My friend T suggested it to me not long ago. I was in the area by myself and randomly asked if he knew anywhere i'd like. I like that it's cosy, feels casual, and also looks a bit nice inside.

The gig was only 300m away. At a new venue, which used to be a record store (and still is mostly). We walked right passed it, even though i have seen the sign many times. 666 SYDNEY RD.

My mate Al played. And my other friend R was there with someone. It's a tiny venue and everybody sits on a table-for-two. The bar was too small for a beer tap. But they had a USB-powered gadget where the bartender could attach beer can and pour that canned beer into a glass from a tap. I was fascinated. Every beer i had i had that way.
