I found a place for my Papa Bear (street art paste-up) that i found on Saturday night on Smith St in Collingwood. It was on the footpath where i stepped out of the back of my uber from the city

I'm glad i picked it up. My friends in Smith St when i arrived (at Beermash) thought it was cute and entertaining too

I heard today that 2 of them copped hens night covid. This is very disappointing for H who was supposed to fly interstate to see her bf this week

Worked at my laptop without a break. A bad habit

AFTER WORK: A FAIRLY TYPICAL WEEKNIGHT

I called my mum and my sister answered so i spoke with her briefly too

Ate half a packet of cheezels that i found in my pastry. Unsure when i bought them. They were recently expired but tasted better than i remember from my childhood - not at all stale. I wondered if a visitor stashed then there for me but i can't think who that would be since i so rarely have visitors. In theory, it could've been my mum

Ordered a pizza (half-half mexi, gluten free base), and sipped on a great Rocky Road "Fkn Boom" TIPA 11%. Will it make my yearly Top 10? It almost will.

Watched the Cheap Seats while i noodled on my guitar. It was entertaining - albeit not very funny 

SAD NEWS

I let D know the terrible news i saw on fb about J&P's son's cancer prognosis - so sad for everyone. I haven't reached out to J. I never know what to say in this kind of situation. It occurs to me that H would most likely have good advice

It is the kind of thing that the chat-bots could answer - but you reach for it feels inauthentic (verging on psychopathic)

Sulpher-crested chimkens (Rowville - Mitcham) On my morning walk i saw A's old neighbour, S. We had a quick conversation by shouting accross the road - him in his car at the traffic lights & me waiting to cross the road I was up early and straight into the shower, rather than checking my phone too throughly. I feel that my morning scrolling is best done over a coffee – however tempting it is as a daily-first-thing to pick up the phone to check "all of the things" (news, chat notifications, email, wordle) It must have been too chilly for the chickens up on boronia rd. They were not out pecking in the yard which seemed unusual. Presumably the were huddled up in the coop – i couldn't really see in N and i went to Project Brewing in roweville for the first time. The beers were very good. Catfish (Mitcham - Vermont - Brunswick) Got home at 9:30am. Shower. Meditate. Back out 1-3pm Range Brewing tap takeover at co-conspirators, brunswick. Surprised by "The Don" And then Catfish in gertrude st. Garage Project takeover. Two highlights were the barrel sours Foragers for a final "full stop" beer ... or two. Boriggy Hazy IPA. N closed the door as we left the bar —habitually— as if they had called last-drinks, which next day we figured was too early by about 5 hrs. Hilarious In bed by 8:30pm or so

Foragers A few laid-back beers turned into a fairly big session of Jagermeister, huge barrel-aged stouts, and IPAs I've parked nearby, so i'll stay over at N's apartment tonight & leave early when she needs to go to work Overall i feel grateful & relaxed. I've heard some things that make me think that this fling might be a thing - unsure how i feel about that but for sure it's feeling overwhelmingly like positive vibes 12:21am
