Dreamt my car got stolen. Had to buy a new Subi. This one doesn't look bad....
I'm on a bit of a sleep streak where i sleep thru the night. For 10+ years, ~3-4am i'll get up for the loo & be awake for an hour. I've done that since i dated E, the baker – i'd get up to have bfast with her & then go back to sleep

Last night, i saw 3:20a, put my podcast back on, and don't remember any of that episode

At that time i had acid reflux, sat up for a bit, remembered the hot chili sauce i had with dinner, thought about the antacids [sic] that N bought me, but then it went away within a few minutes 

Walked to inked² for a coffee and egg&bacon toastie. Saw N, we did a walk around the block 

WORKED WITHOUT A BREAK

Everybody in my morning stand-up was in a foul mood (3 including me)

Then everybody in my afternoon meeting (a cast of thousands) were working together cooperatively.. It was a minor miracle

Sulpher-crested chimkens (Rowville - Mitcham) On my morning walk i saw A's old neighbour, S. We had a quick conversation by shouting accross the road - him in his car at the traffic lights & me waiting to cross the road I was up early and straight into the shower, rather than checking my phone too throughly. I feel that my morning scrolling is best done over a coffee – however tempting it is as a daily-first-thing to pick up the phone to check "all of the things" (news, chat notifications, email, wordle) It must have been too chilly for the chickens up on boronia rd. They were not out pecking in the yard which seemed unusual. Presumably the were huddled up in the coop – i couldn't really see in N and i went to Project Brewing in roweville for the first time. The beers were very good. I had a burger and we are quite sure they delivered a different burger than what i ordered - regardless it was tasty (even perhaps better ingredients than what i had chosen) Back to f...

Catfish (Mitcham - Vermont - Brunswick) Got home at 9:30am. Shower. Meditate. Back out 1-3pm Range Brewing tap takeover at co-conspirators, brunswick. Surprised by "The Don" And then Catfish in gertrude st. Garage Project takeover. Two highlights were the barrel sours Foragers for a final "full stop" beer ... or two. Boriggy Hazy IPA. N closed the door as we left the bar —habitually— as if they had called last-drinks, which next day we figured was too early by about 5 hrs. Hilarious In bed by 8:30pm or so

Foragers A few laid-back beers turned into a fairly big session of Jagermeister, huge barrel-aged stouts, and IPAs I've parked nearby, so i'll stay over at N's apartment tonight & leave early when she needs to go to work Overall i feel grateful & relaxed. I've heard some things that make me think that this fling might be a thing - unsure how i feel about that but for sure it's feeling overwhelmingly like positive vibes 12:21am
