I woke early & made an instant coffee ~ 5am
I didn't go back to sleep, only dozed briefly
I thought that i oughtn't sit inside and risk spreading my germs. There was only 1 person sitting in the back section outside, so i had my coffee delivered to my table out there
She is usually there at the same time as me: an elderly, South African woman. Sometimes with her daughters who are both more or less my age
My nose felt too blocked to attempt weights. My body felt tired, perhaps struggling to oxygenate
For the 3rd night in a row, i watched a Cronenberg film. This time M. Butterfly (1993, Jeremy Irons, set in Mao's communist China) which was perhaps my favourite & the most polished of the three. It wasn't body horror, just an odd love story
Bed time: 10pm
