Wordle 4/6 at 3:30am (i'm on a 107-day steak)
House says 20°C at 3:30am. It was hot yesterday

It was nice to hear the rain. I thought it may help drop the temperature down to a more comfortable sleeping (with a doona) temperature

Boiled the kettle for ablate night instant coffee

Journaled. Chatted with N

1. Next door neighbours (who sounded to me like the original tenants) were last night still clearing out the SOLD house of all of their junk. Their nature strip is full of random items. There is no quiet way for 2 people to perform that kind of evacuation exercise it seems

2. I thought i saw (what might be) the across-the-street new owners/tenants. They were gawking at me on my couch: watching Cronenberg's non body horror / love story

It made me realise, that i have had it very peacefully quiet & safe

I feel like i can't go back to Jolimont, because A and B will probably be there & don't want to be tempted to sit in close quarters with the uninfected 

But i do need a real coffee & it's nice weather for a morning walk, so i've donned my Hawaiian shirt (what do they call Hawaiian shirts in Hawaii), shorts, and thongs to head up to the most "outdoor" indoor coffee-shop that i could think of..... Manta Ray Coffee Roasters (off Rooks rd)

• Didn't feel strong enough to attempt my workout
• Re-did my hops wiring, so they are more vertical

NIGHTTIME
I watched George Clooney "Solaris" (2002) sci-fi — very slow to get going & then the middle/end wasnt' too bad

Bed time: 11pm

Sulpher-crested chimkens (Rowville - Mitcham) On my morning walk i saw A's old neighbour, S. We had a quick conversation by shouting accross the road - him in his car at the traffic lights & me waiting to cross the road I was up early and straight into the shower, rather than checking my phone too throughly. I feel that my morning scrolling is best done over a coffee – however tempting it is as a daily-first-thing to pick up the phone to check "all of the things" (news, chat notifications, email, wordle) It must have been too chilly for the chickens up on boronia rd. They were not out pecking in the yard which seemed unusual. Presumably the were huddled up in the coop – i couldn't really see in N and i went to Project Brewing in roweville for the first time. The beers were very good. I had a burger and we are quite sure they delivered a different burger than what i ordered - regardless it was tasty (even perhaps better ingredients than what i had chosen) Back to f...

Catfish (Mitcham - Vermont - Brunswick) Got home at 9:30am. Shower. Meditate. Back out 1-3pm Range Brewing tap takeover at co-conspirators, brunswick. Surprised by "The Don" And then Catfish in gertrude st. Garage Project takeover. Two highlights were the barrel sours Foragers for a final "full stop" beer ... or two. Boriggy Hazy IPA. N closed the door as we left the bar —habitually— as if they had called last-drinks, which next day we figured was too early by about 5 hrs. Hilarious In bed by 8:30pm or so

Foragers A few laid-back beers turned into a fairly big session of Jagermeister, huge barrel-aged stouts, and IPAs I've parked nearby, so i'll stay over at N's apartment tonight & leave early when she needs to go to work Overall i feel grateful & relaxed. I've heard some things that make me think that this fling might be a thing - unsure how i feel about that but for sure it's feeling overwhelmingly like positive vibes 12:21am
