Spoke with N and she is in a lot of pain, keeps throwing up water and painkillers, hasn't slept 
10:30 AM
I'm very worried about her. She called 000 to request an ambulance, they said instead they will get a nurse to call her in the next 60 min

I'm breathing, self-soothing, and trying to stay calm. Showered and ready to drive to her apartment or meet her at box hill hospital

I have a knot in my stomach. I keep needing to go to the toilet which may be due to nerves, last night's beers, or (i suspect) last night's curry. It didn't seem spicy, but i often don't handle chili very well 

It took me 2 hours to feel well enough to swallow my anti-histamines & vitamin D tablet. I haven't eaten. I'm lying down on my bed on my side with my doona over my shoulder & ceiling fan on 

I am reminding myself that i am safe and comfortable, and there is nothing i can do right now

11:30 AM: Emergency Triage - Seats
Drove her back to emergency. She was throwing up her painkillers, in a lot of pain. They gave her another CT scan. Dr Chris gave her painkillers & 15 min before that since anti-nausea (Pictured)

4:30 PM: Short Stay - Bed
They've put her on an IV drip for fluids. We don't have the results of today's CT scan yet 

5:15 PM
They are trying a different kind of painkiller, something stronger that hopefully she can keep down & starts to help

6 PM
She got a good report from the brain scan, looks better than yesterday. They've said it's likely a concussion, hence the persistent headache

7:30 PM
I expect they will kick me out in 30 min as visiting hours will be over. Still very painful 8/10. She dozed briefly ~ 10 min or so

Sulpher-crested chimkens (Rowville - Mitcham) On my morning walk i saw A's old neighbour, S. We had a quick conversation by shouting accross the road - him in his car at the traffic lights & me waiting to cross the road I was up early and straight into the shower, rather than checking my phone too throughly. I feel that my morning scrolling is best done over a coffee – however tempting it is as a daily-first-thing to pick up the phone to check "all of the things" (news, chat notifications, email, wordle) It must have been too chilly for the chickens up on boronia rd. They were not out pecking in the yard which seemed unusual. Presumably the were huddled up in the coop – i couldn't really see in N and i went to Project Brewing in roweville for the first time. The beers were very good. I had a burger and we are quite sure they delivered a different burger than what i ordered - regardless it was tasty (even perhaps better ingredients than what i had chosen) Back to f...

Catfish (Mitcham - Vermont - Brunswick) Got home at 9:30am. Shower. Meditate. Back out 1-3pm Range Brewing tap takeover at co-conspirators, brunswick. Surprised by "The Don" And then Catfish in gertrude st. Garage Project takeover. Two highlights were the barrel sours Foragers for a final "full stop" beer ... or two. Boriggy Hazy IPA. N closed the door as we left the bar —habitually— as if they had called last-drinks, which next day we figured was too early by about 5 hrs. Hilarious In bed by 8:30pm or so

Foragers A few laid-back beers turned into a fairly big session of Jagermeister, huge barrel-aged stouts, and IPAs I've parked nearby, so i'll stay over at N's apartment tonight & leave early when she needs to go to work Overall i feel grateful & relaxed. I've heard some things that make me think that this fling might be a thing - unsure how i feel about that but for sure it's feeling overwhelmingly like positive vibes 12:21am
