WFH:
Car serviced & new contact lenses picked up. I'm ready for a long weekend in 3.. 2.. 1.. now

I had a radiator leak, so they replaced it — which made my car service twice as expensive. But shouldn't need to be back for 6-12 months

Weights at lunchtime. Not as productive at work as i had hoped. Because of car service mostly, which involved 2 uber trips. However, i did solve 1 issue for my customer fairly quickly. It's like that saying, it's only looks it was easy task because of my many years of experience, training, and exams

Uber to high st to meet H and A. Neither of whom pulled out. They know each other a little bit, so it should be fine

It's a warm night. It feels good to be in a tshirt & sunglasses

7 PM
Gigi rooftop bar 

8:30 PM
Dinner at Ballard's vegetarian, potato lasagna, mushroom steak

Later: My mates' band, Malcura. It's a single launch. They had 3 support acts, so they were on stage from 10:30pm

They are a heavy flamenco, instrumental acoustic 4-piece

Afterwards, Nasty's (a final drink that 100% wasn't required)

Sulpher-crested chimkens (Rowville - Mitcham) On my morning walk i saw A's old neighbour, S. We had a quick conversation by shouting accross the road - him in his car at the traffic lights & me waiting to cross the road I was up early and straight into the shower, rather than checking my phone too throughly. I feel that my morning scrolling is best done over a coffee – however tempting it is as a daily-first-thing to pick up the phone to check "all of the things" (news, chat notifications, email, wordle) It must have been too chilly for the chickens up on boronia rd. They were not out pecking in the yard which seemed unusual. Presumably the were huddled up in the coop – i couldn't really see in N and i went to Project Brewing in roweville for the first time. The beers were very good. I had a burger and we are quite sure they delivered a different burger than what i ordered - regardless it was tasty (even perhaps better ingredients than what i had chosen) Back to f...

Catfish (Mitcham - Vermont - Brunswick) Got home at 9:30am. Shower. Meditate. Back out 1-3pm Range Brewing tap takeover at co-conspirators, brunswick. Surprised by "The Don" And then Catfish in gertrude st. Garage Project takeover. Two highlights were the barrel sours Foragers for a final "full stop" beer ... or two. Boriggy Hazy IPA. N closed the door as we left the bar —habitually— as if they had called last-drinks, which next day we figured was too early by about 5 hrs. Hilarious In bed by 8:30pm or so

Foragers A few laid-back beers turned into a fairly big session of Jagermeister, huge barrel-aged stouts, and IPAs I've parked nearby, so i'll stay over at N's apartment tonight & leave early when she needs to go to work Overall i feel grateful & relaxed. I've heard some things that make me think that this fling might be a thing - unsure how i feel about that but for sure it's feeling overwhelmingly like positive vibes 12:21am
