I'm back at work today. I'll log in from home soon. But first coffee

Redwood café looks a bit different: bare, no self-serve water, new art on the walls. There's a new cook, here by himself — so he's taken my order & made my coffee 

He said it's only his 2nd magic (coffee?) ever, if it's no good his barista is arriving soon. I said i'm sure it's fine, it's the caffine that's the main part

I didn't sleep amazing. I felt hot at times. Some anxiety in my stomach. Or that may have been the hot English mustard on my steak

Did weights as a lunch break

I've had no issues with work today. Nobody bothered me, which was a relief. I had 3 quick training courses to complete, and i've caught up on all my emails & chat rooms. 

• Fish tank has arrived
• Caution Wet Floor miniature sign
• Matchbox cars (2x)

Sulpher-crested chimkens (Rowville - Mitcham) On my morning walk i saw A's old neighbour, S. We had a quick conversation by shouting accross the road - him in his car at the traffic lights & me waiting to cross the road I was up early and straight into the shower, rather than checking my phone too throughly. I feel that my morning scrolling is best done over a coffee – however tempting it is as a daily-first-thing to pick up the phone to check "all of the things" (news, chat notifications, email, wordle) It must have been too chilly for the chickens up on boronia rd. They were not out pecking in the yard which seemed unusual. Presumably the were huddled up in the coop – i couldn't really see in N and i went to Project Brewing in roweville for the first time. The beers were very good. Catfish (Mitcham - Vermont - Brunswick) Got home at 9:30am. Shower. Meditate. Back out 1-3pm Range Brewing tap takeover at co-conspirators, brunswick. Surprised by "The Don" And then Catfish in gertrude st. Garage Project takeover. Two highlights were the barrel sours Foragers for a final "full stop" beer ... or two. Boriggy Hazy IPA. N closed the door as we left the bar —habitually— as if they had called last-drinks, which next day we figured was too early by about 5 hrs. Hilarious In bed by 8:30pm or so

Foragers A few laid-back beers turned into a fairly big session of Jagermeister, huge barrel-aged stouts, and IPAs I've parked nearby, so i'll stay over at N's apartment tonight & leave early when she needs to go to work Overall i feel grateful & relaxed. I've heard some things that make me think that this fling might be a thing - unsure how i feel about that but for sure it's feeling overwhelmingly like positive vibes 12:21am
