2026-02-21 (Saturday Mitcham - Thornbury)

Walked from Mitcham to Mr Robertson w/ N for bfast in norklebst (which we call snorkle) ~ 10am

Unfortunately i forgot to bring a spare pair of contact lenses (accidentally left them in the jeans pocket of my blue jeans that i last minute decided not to wear out last night). Also didn't have a pair kicking around my car, nor my spectacles 

From Mr R i walked myself home, half blind & n walked herself home too

11:30 AM
Back home, reunited with my spectacles. I can go collect my car tomrw (Sunday) 

Potentially weights later (and soldat). But for now, podcasts, air conditioning, lying like a starfish on my bed, and v likely a snooze

We plan to meet up later to go to see my mate Sz from canberra — at where he always decides to meet up with us all, which is Welcome to Thornbury

Sulpher-crested chimkens (Rowville - Mitcham) On my morning walk i saw A's old neighbour, S. We had a quick conversation by shouting accross the road - him in his car at the traffic lights & me waiting to cross the road I was up early and straight into the shower, rather than checking my phone too throughly. I feel that my morning scrolling is best done over a coffee – however tempting it is as a daily-first-thing to pick up the phone to check "all of the things" (news, chat notifications, email, wordle) It must have been too chilly for the chickens up on boronia rd. They were not out pecking in the yard which seemed unusual. Presumably the were huddled up in the coop – i couldn't really see in N and i went to Project Brewing in roweville for the first time. The beers were very good. Catfish (Mitcham - Vermont - Brunswick) Got home at 9:30am. Shower. Meditate. Back out 1-3pm Range Brewing tap takeover at co-conspirators, brunswick. Surprised by "The Don" And then Catfish in gertrude st. Garage Project takeover. Two highlights were the barrel sours Foragers for a final "full stop" beer ... or two. Boriggy Hazy IPA. N closed the door as we left the bar —habitually— as if they had called last-drinks, which next day we figured was too early by about 5 hrs. Hilarious In bed by 8:30pm or so

Foragers A few laid-back beers turned into a fairly big session of Jagermeister, huge barrel-aged stouts, and IPAs I've parked nearby, so i'll stay over at N's apartment tonight & leave early when she needs to go to work Overall i feel grateful & relaxed. I've heard some things that make me think that this fling might be a thing - unsure how i feel about that but for sure it's feeling overwhelmingly like positive vibes 12:21am
