My parisian friend T (french-moroccan) has today sent me photos of herself w/ Juan (mexican) who i met in melbourne a very long time ago, 10+ years. They are holidaying in Colombia this week.

It was her birthday — which strangely i didn't know. She closed her facebook account years ago. We stay in contact over whatsapp nowadays

I feel like i produced a lot of output wfh yesterday w/o taking a break, 9am-6pm. Regardless, i will drive into the office today. Probably i will arrive early & leave work early, since i'm awake this early

I'm on Day 3 of being back on a daily telfast anti-histamine. Itchy around the face in this morning in the car

I tried going without my morning telfast (180 strength) last weekend until wednesday night. But mon, tue, wed were all uncomfortably at times. My fore-arm skin didn't freak out, it was just general itchiness of the scalp at night mostly

The uber that picked us up didn't have the number plate that was displayed in the app. The driver knew N's name. Very weird

Arrived at Laburnum. We are eating in at the little Italian restaurant: gnocci, pinot noir, chardonnay. Then will go in nextdoor to Natural Science for a beer

Popped in for 1 at Bar Nearby. J was a new dad, and E at home with the bub. The bartender, O, was very friendly & attentive, remembered us

Foragers for a few more pots. Home ~ midnight

Sulpher-crested chimkens (Rowville - Mitcham) On my morning walk i saw A's old neighbour, S. We had a quick conversation by shouting accross the road - him in his car at the traffic lights & me waiting to cross the road I was up early and straight into the shower, rather than checking my phone too throughly. I feel that my morning scrolling is best done over a coffee – however tempting it is as a daily-first-thing to pick up the phone to check "all of the things" (news, chat notifications, email, wordle) It must have been too chilly for the chickens up on boronia rd. They were not out pecking in the yard which seemed unusual. Presumably the were huddled up in the coop – i couldn't really see in N and i went to Project Brewing in roweville for the first time. The beers were very good. I had a burger and we are quite sure they delivered a different burger than what i ordered - regardless it was tasty (even perhaps better ingredients than what i had chosen) Back to f...

Catfish (Mitcham - Vermont - Brunswick) Got home at 9:30am. Shower. Meditate. Back out 1-3pm Range Brewing tap takeover at co-conspirators, brunswick. Surprised by "The Don" And then Catfish in gertrude st. Garage Project takeover. Two highlights were the barrel sours Foragers for a final "full stop" beer ... or two. Boriggy Hazy IPA. N closed the door as we left the bar —habitually— as if they had called last-drinks, which next day we figured was too early by about 5 hrs. Hilarious In bed by 8:30pm or so

Foragers A few laid-back beers turned into a fairly big session of Jagermeister, huge barrel-aged stouts, and IPAs I've parked nearby, so i'll stay over at N's apartment tonight & leave early when she needs to go to work Overall i feel grateful & relaxed. I've heard some things that make me think that this fling might be a thing - unsure how i feel about that but for sure it's feeling overwhelmingly like positive vibes 12:21am
